The Joanna Brown Trust charity sports day was held on Thursday 27th July in aid of The Joanna Brown Trust at Nunnery Wood Sports Complex, Worcester. The aim of The Trust is to encourage involvement in sports and provide people regardless of background the opportunity to experience all types of sports. The Trust provides talented young athletes from across the UK with financial support to help them excel in their chosen sport. 100% of all the money raised from the Trust goes directly to their cause and projects.

The Inksmoor team was made up of Grace Harker, Rosie Johns, Paige Stockman, Roger Stockman, Andrew Radley and Oscar Radley, who entered events such as:

  • 50m Sack Race
  • Bubble Discuss
  • Welly Throwing
  • 100m Skipping
  • 100m Bean Bag
  • 50m Fancy Dress

The Inksmoor team finished joint second from the day’s events, won the best fancy dress and the whole day raised over £400!!

The Inksmoor team were really enthusiastic with the challenge and look forward to next year’s event.
